Overview

C6 Bank was one of the most formative chapters of my career. I joined the company at an early stage of its growth, when many parts of the brand, product experience and digital presence were still being shaped. My role sat between brand and product, helping translate a fast-moving fintech brand into interfaces, campaigns, websites and systems that needed to feel consistent, trustworthy and clear.

I was the first Product Designer inside the branding team, which meant working across different types of problems instead of staying inside one narrow discipline. Some days were closer to product design, creating app flows, interface assets and high-fidelity screens. Other days were closer to brand, working on campaigns, visual systems, cards, identities, websites and digital communication pieces.

One of the most important projects was helping turn the bank’s website into a stronger acquisition product, not just a brand presence. That involved working closely with developers, improving handoff, creating design-system foundations and making sure the experience could support real business goals while still feeling aligned with the C6 brand. I also contributed to broader visual direction work, including card designs, identity systems and the art direction around the bank’s typeface.

Over time, the role grew beyond execution. I officially managed three junior designers, reviewing work, giving direction and helping maintain quality across multiple brand and digital initiatives. The experience taught me how to design inside a high-standard, regulated environment, where every detail needs to balance creativity, consistency, clarity and business impact.
