CSE - Canadian Exchange

The Canadian Securities Exchange project was a full website redesign created while I was working with the Dog and Pony Studios team. My role focused on product design, UI/UX and visual system exploration, helping rethink how a complex financial institution could communicate with very different audiences through one cohesive digital experience.

The challenge was not just to make the site look better. CSE serves investors, listed companies, traders, regulators and other stakeholders, so the design had to organize a large amount of information without making the experience feel heavy or fragmented. We worked from the ground up on the structure, interface direction, content presentation and design system.

A big part of the work was finding a balance between clarity and personality. The site needed to feel institutional and reliable, but also modern, confident and easier to navigate. The visual system, layouts and interface patterns were designed to make complex content feel more approachable while still respecting the expectations of a financial and regulatory environment.

The project was very well received by both the client and the internal team at Dog and Pony Studios. It later received international recognition, including a German Design Award Gold for Excellent Communications Design / Web. For me, this case represents the kind of product design work I enjoy most: taking something dense, important and complex, then turning it into a clearer and more usable digital system.
